Kathy Schrecengost & Kristen Skinner

About The Authors
During her 14 years in elementary education, Kathy Schrecengost loved making up
stories to share with her students. During the Covid quarantine Kathy connected
virtually to her students, reading to them with her giant stuffed sloth, Kevin, by her side.
On his time off from reading sessions, Kevin could be found on his rocking chair in the
front window, bringing smiles to the people passing by.

Illustrator Kristen Skinner has a passion for children's literature and creating art.
Connecting with Kathy Schrecengost during the pandemic, they combined their talents
to publish this story of a warm-hearted sloth who was also stuck at home and was shown,
with the help of family and friends, a way to make the most of it and have fun during the process!
