Compilation of facsimiles of letters written by Clarence Leighton, father of the author's husband, while he was in the U.S. Army Ambulance Service during World War I. The original letters - originally stored in the author's attic - provide readers with a unique perspective during a time of war through the personal correspondence (from June 1917 through May 1919) of a son to his parents.
